Before joining the U.S. Army, he attended the Lorain County JVS, where he became a credentialed auto body technician. He then furthered his techniques during the last 2 years of high school and became an apprentice at Morris Cadillac Buick & GMC. Yeliel strives to not only achieve his dreams of serving his country but also to contribute to a purpose beyond his own.
